JSB Training and Development is a professional, client-focused service provider, specialising in the areas of management and communication skills, employment law and human resource management, in the UK and internationally.

We now have a vacancy for a Client Development Executive to generate revenue for JSB’s open course and in-company business through outbound telephone activities. This role will require tenacious and consultative selling skills, pro-activity and ownership.

We will consider both full-time and part-time applicants.

  • Previous experience of an events, learning and development or training business is an advantage

Responsibilities: working on an ongoing and campaign basis you will

  • Provide excellence in client relationship management to existing top clients to increase cross selling potential in particular with new PC&C products and four key management and communication courses
  • Further promote the Advanced Certificate in Employment Law
  • Follow up and close ad hoc event sales enquiries from existing opportunities

More specifically;·

  • You will make contact with top 100 customers via telephone, build rapport and through a consultative conversation find out about their purchasing requirements and training needs
  • Promote the PCC client loyalty scheme to top 100 clients
  • Responsible for developing incentive or block booking special offers
  • Promote and elaborate on the length and breadth of the JSB product offering
  • Responsible for promoting new PC&C products and services to past most relevant buyers and best customers
  • Responsible for creating a list of ‘client managed friendlies’ with whom you will communicate personally when new brochures are launched
  • Report to Public Courses and In-company managers on progress against sales targets on a weekly basis
  • Produce weekly report on activity and update on closed sales
  • Responsible for managing multiple projects or campaigns at any one time
